The Space Forum engages stakeholders to capture their needs and contributes to the IAQG initiatives to influence them accordingly. The group shares concerns and lessons learned in efforts to strengthen the Space Industry.  Good practices are presented as an opportunity to learn, understand, and apply as needed by each sector.

IAQG Space Forum membership is comprised of representatives of the appropriate experience and authority level to effectively meet the Forum’s purpose: To identify the needs of the space industry and institutional customers, and leverage opportunities to address such needs within IAQG.

IAQG Space Forum meetings are led by an individual with authority delegated by the IAQG Space Forum, which is supported by representatives from each of the following three Sectors:  Americas, Asia-Pacific, and European.

Deliverables of this team include:

• Contributions to selected IAQG initiatives
• Proposals of initiatives from space perspective
• Best practice presentations and workshops
• Feedback and guidance to respective organizations for implementation of IAQG initiatives
• Internal IAQG reporting and communications

The Defense Team engages Defense Industry and Agencies stakeholders to capture their Quality Requirements needs and expectations and contributes to the IAQG initiatives to influence them accordingly.

IAQG Defense Team membership is comprised of representatives of the appropriate experience and authority level to effectively meet the purpose: To identify the Quality Requirements needs and expectations of the Defense Industry and Agencies and to address such needs within IAQG relevant forums/standards.

IAQG Defense Team is focused to ensure harmonization with other Defense Organizations and Agencies. Deliverables of the Team include:

• Contributions to selected IAQG initiatives
• Feedback and guidance to respective organizations for implementation of IAQG initiatives
• Internal IAQG reporting and communications
• Develop and maintain 9137 standard
• Act as the IAQG focal point in front of Military Organizations such as MoDs, NATO, DCMA, EDA…

Working together with the international airworthiness authorities to enable local design, production and certification with global acceptance

Working together with industry towards recognition of IAQG standards and effective industry use, application, and certification to improve aviation safety, product quality, and efficiency of the MRO industry

Establish relationships with safety, quality and aviation industry trade associations whose purpose and objectives overlap those of the IAQG
